Grief and Loss

Grief is complex and very unique for persons who have experienced loss. We work to support our clients, at their own pace, through the stages of grief :
Denial — Refusal to accept the loss as true and real
Anger — Emotional hurt manifested through various means, including blame and guilt
Bargaining — Attempts to negotiate (with God)
Depression — Sadness, regret, fear, uncertainty, etc.
Acceptance — The beginning of emotional detachment and objectivity about the loss
